  • (RESOLVED) Bug Report! VST Serialization Doesn’t Work in Graphics Mode

Posted on November 5, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

This issue has been resolved. Please download version 2.8+ Ok, due to a complete over-site on my part, Jeez parameter serialization doesn’t work in graphics mode. I assumed the REAPER VST serialization of graphical VST’s was “the standard”, but, as it turns out, I was incorrect. Dang! So, The Bad News… What this means is, […]

  • Jesusonic Heap/Memory Manager (Heman)

Posted on October 27, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development, Jesusonic Effects.

Ive written a number of memory managers over the last 6 months, but I think I have found the perfect Jesusonic memory manager design. The Heman import library is a general purpose heap manager for Jesusonic. Download http://stash.reaper.fm/v/25527/Heman%20Heap%20Manager.zip Update: 27th Oct 2015 – Added _recalloc() and more code documentation. This is my latest heap manager […]

  • Installing Geep Jeez + TDMGCC64

Posted on October 20, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

This is just a quick post to document the state of Geep Jeez. For those who don’t know, Geep Jeez is a Jesusonic editor with a transpiler built into it. As an editor, Jeez provides a lot of useful code navigation tools like: Jumping to variables/functions in the current file or even in imported files. […]

  • Geep Jeez 2.6 Released

Posted on October 1, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

I haven’t updated for a while since I have been working on other projects. The latest version includes some JSFX library fixes, and my new distortion effect “Little Black Box”. This version was compiled using the latest FreePascal 3.0 and Lazarus 1.5, plus, its compiled using optimization level 2, so, its faster. VeST was also […]

  • GCC 5.1.0 Problems! (Not Ready to be Used)

Posted on July 2, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

UPDATE: (4th July) I just tried the second release of TDM-GCC v5.1.0, which now compiles against the VeST library, but still doesn’t like the Bass/LibSndFile libraries (which were release by the library authors). What that means is, you can create VST effects with GCC5.1.0, but without advanced sound loading. The default Jes2Cpp wav loader is […]

  • New Soda GUI for Jesusonic

Posted on June 28, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

Yep, I’ve coded another GUI. This one is designed to be as simple as possible, to make it easy to update “hybrid” Jesusonic GUI’s to full graphical GUI’s. You can download the Soda GUI from here: http://stash.reaper.fm/v/24396/soda.zip The aim of this code is to get effects like graphdist or NP1136 Peak Limiter working as VST […]

  • How to Read/Load WAVE Files in C++

Posted on June 18, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

Recently I needed a simple WAV file loader for VST effects created with Jeez. I’ve been using the bass & libsndfile, but bass file loading doesn’t work unless the system audio device is working (which often isn’t the case if you are using ASIO), and libsndfile is a whopping 2.2MB. After some googling, I was […]

  • New Version 1.6 (Now works on Linux)

Posted on May 19, 2015 by admin in Jeez! Development.

Version 1.6 has been uploaded, but there is a catch. In order to port the supporting C++ code, I had to move stuff about a little, so, I recommend you uninstall previous versions before installing. Which also means, if you have modified code in the installation folder (which shouldn’t be done anyway), then you should […]
